Sally grew up on the south coast of NSW in the sleepy little town of Gerroa which offered her a variety of waves to develop her trademark maneuvers and pinpoint timing. Through her teenage years she established herself as one of the world’s best up-and-comers, taking out the ISA World Title and the ASP World Junior Championship. In 2008 she hit the WQS, managed to claim a string of great results to win the series and earn her place on the 2009 ASP World Tour.

Sal carries the future of Australian women’s surfing on her shoulders and it’s a responsibility she happily accepts. The reality is that it’s only a matter of time before we see her claim the first of many world titles.
